I just got the poo scared out of me, all thanks goes to my sis. She sent me this eery video earlier today.
Those of you who are fans of Dexter will enjoy it more. It was one of those things where I knew it was a joke, but my heart was pounding so hard and I wanted to cry by the time it was over I was so frightened. In spite of that feeling, it was quite funny really and I should have been able to piece the clues together before I even watched the video. Oh well.
The site that the video is from is promoting Dexter coming to FX. I have also heard that Dexter will be airing on CBS. Dexter is a Showtime series, I’d like to think of Showtime shows as rated R movies. There’s almost no standard to what Showtime will show, at least from what I can tell. Having said this, the inappropriate nature of this show is a big factor in the quality of it. I mean come on, it’s about a crazed serial killer! It wouldn’t be the same if it didn’t include the things that make it a Showtime show. So in my opinion, moving Dexter to a network channel and even a cable channel is a big downgrade overall. On the one hand, people with high standards or those who don’t get Showtime can now enjoy this marvelous series, which is great! However, the real experience will never be felt on those channels. That is a serious shame. Showtime totally wins this one.

Maybe I’m evil but I’m glad you got a little scared and didn’t just laugh! I don’t actually think FX in America will be showing it, I think it’s just in the UK, (where Niall’s friends are who developed this promo) and who knows what their standards are. Also, I think you can embed the video–you should put it right in the post!
